My sister got me a Neon Blue Pro Powerball for my birthday. It took a while to get it going, but now i can flick start it, First go was 6000, then after college i got 8900, my ex girlfriend got 9000 out of it, then i got 9100, Gave it too a big lad at work the next day to have ago and he got 9941, the day after i got over 10k and my current record stands at 11306rpm! The Powerball I found to be everything described on the site; and I am as addicted to playing and working with it as anyone else. It is, and I find it to be - a supurbative tool and toy despite or perhaps because of - my 55 odd years and blind! If I had a good ear for tone, I bet I could accurately guestimate the speed too; but I haven't. But I can do this and give it some stick! Suggestions: I found a curtain ring to tie on the end of the pull chord so I can wind more round the rotor and have a more positive hooked grip when I give it the big pull. Secondly: The leather case is one of those more or less essential accessories and is the perfect finish to what is already an ideal product. I mean - if you're going to take your Powerball around with you in a work, school or sport bag; package it for its protection. It's padded in just the right places and is a really neat addition and worth the little extra. Finally: to RPM sports, since there is a fairly power hungry Techno version with all the pretty lights; it wouldn't be much extra effort or production cost to add a sound chip to do more amazing audio things... including talk! Litterally telling you the speed to save you having to pause and take your hand from over the counter would help everyone and me in particular.
